Ingredients:
- 2 litres of Mangrove Jack’s Raspberry and Lime Cider
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of spirit (such as vodka, rum, tequila or Still Spirits Raspberry Vodka)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl or baking dish, combine the Mangrove Jack’s Raspberry and Lime Cider, sugar and spirit. Stir until the sugar has fully dissolved.
2. Cover the container and place it in the freezer. The high alcohol content from the added spirit will prevent the mixture from freezing into a solid block.
3. Allow the mixture to freeze for 2-3 hours, or until it reaches a thick, slushy consistency. Stirring during this time is optional.
4. Once the mix has reached the desired slushy texture, scoop the frozen treat into chilled, stemmed glasses.
Serving Suggestions:
- Garnish each glass with a fresh raspberry and a lime wedge.
- For a festive touch, rim the glasses with a mixture of granulated sugar and lime zest before adding the slushy cider.
- Pair the Raspberry Lime Cider Iceberg with light, summery foods like grilled chicken salads, fresh seafood dishes, or fruit-based desserts.
